76-year-old Alex Gray was so fed up trying to register with an NHS dentist, that he took matters into his own hands. The retired roofer has been unable to find a dentist since moving to Lincolnshire

76-year-old Alex Gray was so fed up trying to register with an NHS dentist, that he took matters into his own hands. The retired roofer has been unable to find a dentist since moving to Lincolnshire six years ago, and so was forced to pull his own teeth out using pliers from his toolbox.

Alex has now removed 6 teeth himself, and treated the pain with over the counter painkillers. As the shortage of NHS dentists continues across the country, Alex joins us to share his story alongside dentist Dr Deepak Aulak.
